Iris left us peacefully on 28th June 2022 aged 85.

Dearly loved wife of Rex (deceased).

Loving mum and mother in law of 

Robyn and David, Jill and Phil, Denise and Brendan, Sue and Michael. 

Very special Nanna and Nanna in law of Claire, Chris and Olivia, Ben, Tom and Citasha,

Sam and Ash, Alice, Jed and Layla, Brianna and Max, and Charlotte.

Step Nanna and step nanna in law of Luke and Rach, Jordan, and Rachel.

Great Nanna of Heidi, Cooper, Hugh, Maxle, Charlie, Bailey and Lincoln.

You never failed to do your best, your heart was true and tender,

you simply lived for those you loved, and those you loved remember.

 

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Iris will be held in the

Uniting Church, Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine on Friday 8th July at 2.00pm.

A private burial will be held prior to this service.

    The best neighbour we could ever have had when we came to Faraday 40 years ago . Real friendship, real help when needed, and a real lady.
    There are not many people who can be so supportive in such an unassuming and quiet way. We will miss Iris so much at our CWA meetings.
