Laurie Grant

5th April 1931 - 6th July 2021

Laurie passed away peacefully after a valiant battle to stay with us.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Beryl.

Loving father of Ross and Timothy, father in law of Keryn and Tammy.

Very special Pop and Great Pop to all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A man who has done his best, has done enough.

Your loving wife Beryl xx

To the best father, mentor and friend.  You blessed us with love, support and wisdom.

Forever in my heart

Ross xx

A brave man, you fought so hard to stay with us.  I am very proud to have had you as my father-in-law.

Love Keryn xx

Pop Laurie, hanging out with the pig trucks at the bacon factory, the MC at our wedding,

the backyard cricket umpire at Dromana. All great memories because you were part of them

You will never be forgotten.

Love Daniel, Jaimee, Jacob, Alexa, Eden and Matilda xx

Pop, one of my earliest memories is sitting on the rocking chair watching a blues game with you.

One of the best memories I have, is you holding Holly for the first time.

You will always be remembered.

Love Will, Aimee and Holly xx

Dad, thank you for giving us a can-do attitude, teaching us to be ourselves,

and showing us we can fix anything, while embracing us with love.

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Tim, Tammy & Family xx

Pop, you will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Love Kristy, Marc, Jesse & your little mate Ollie xx

An Amazing Pop, thanks for the life lessons.

Love Josh and Kate xx

Thanks Pop for being so special to us, we treasure every moment spent with you.

Love Michelle, Dan and Little Peanut xoxo

    Those special memories of you
    Will always bring a smile
If only I could have you back
    For just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again
Just like we used to do
You always meant the world to me
    And always will to
The fact that your no longer here
    Will always cause me pain
But you re forever in my heart
    Until we meet again
    RIP Uncle Laurie

Deepest condolences to Beryl and families. In earlier days had happy times together.
Bacon factory, Dromana, bowls and Harris family outings.
Laurie lived a very full life and enjoyed it.

  6. Anne ( Mulvihill ) Morrisson says:

Memories of ALL the GRANT family from the MULVIHILL family.
    Our thoughts to you all.
Special thoughts re the passing of Laurie.
The Mulvihill family lived next door to the Grants at Barkers Creek for ‘donkeys years’.
I can remember very clearly when I first came in contact with Laurie (not forgetting I was only a little kid). I felt sure his head met with the kitchen ceiling. So tall !!
    All great memories.
Denis and I (Anne) are the only members of the Mulvihill family left.
    Kind thoughts always.
