Nell passed away peacefully at Thompson House, Castlemaine on 23rd January 2023 aged 96 years.
Loving wife of Lindsay (dec).
Loved mother of Neville and Wendy (dec),
Allan and Valerie, Dennis and Janice, Andrew and Colleen.
Forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to attend Nell's funeral service,
to be held in the Chapel of Mount Alexander Funerals, 12 Campbell Street, Castlemaine on Friday 3rd February at 11.00am.
Following this service refreshments will be provided at the Newstead Community Centre.
A private family burial service will take place at the Newstead Cemetery.

In loving memory of Nell Garsed, and her husband Lindsay Garsed.
We send our sympathy to their sons, Allan, Andrew, Neville and Dennis, and their families.
We will never forget living at Clydesdale in the early 80s, at the old Garsed farm. We loved it, and will never forget their kindness and generosity to us.
Going recently to see the place again when the garden was open was a joy, bringing back all the memories of a happy and simpler life – the big old kitchen filled with friends, the roaring fire in winter, swimming in the creek in the hot summer, picking veggies in the garden, sitting with our first baby on the verandah.
They were the salt of the earth, and we were privileged to know them.
May Nell Garsed rest in peace.
