Thanks for letting me know about Pat’s passing, Raymond. Your mother and father were very important people for me. In a sense, they were part of my family and I learned so much about life and music while playing in Lester’s band. We talked about a wide range of issues while travelling to gigs. Pat was always in the picture somewhere, offering the sort of loving support that blokes require in a life-long partner. Their relationship was a model for everyone. My heart-felt condolences on her passing, but I know you will treasure her memory for the rest of your life. Gavin

Thanks Nan Pat for welcoming me into the Taylor family with open arms, especially since my family was across the otherside of Australia. I never got to know my grandparents so I consider myself very lucky to have been able to experience a small essence of what it would have been like. Thank you for everything you have done, lots of love Bianca and the Silcox family x
