Robert died peacefully on 26th February 2023 aged 80 with family and in the amazing care of the Thompson House staff.
Dearly loved husband of Margaret.
Much loved Father of Warren, Darryl and Greg. Father-in-law of Michelle and Tanya.
Loving Grandpa to Rory, David, Luke, Georgia, Noah, Jasmine and Zoe.
A funeral service will be held for Robert in the Chapel of Mount Alexander Funerals,
12 Campbell Street, Castlemaine on Thursday 9th March 2023 beginning at 11.00am.
Those attending are invited to join the family afterwards for
a light lunch in the garden at The Dove Café .
55 years of marriage ups and downs.
I am so glad I chose to share them with you.
Thank you for our beautiful family and all you provided for us.

Robert ‘Beans’ Seedsman
Sue and I wish to record our sadness at Robert’s passing.
We have been close
friends through various organisations, clubs and school over a period of 60 years.
‘Beans'( we still think of him by this nickname) was an enthusiastic and talented
musician, with great skill in remembering songs – I rarely saw him use a chord book.
He was also a dogged defender on the backline of Canterbury Pressies for many years.
Although both his and our work took us in different directions, we continued to get together whenever possible.
Margaret and Robert visited us many times after we moved to Queensland.
As we grew older, we were always impressed with is zest for life, good humour and calm manner. I never saw him get angry.
I am grateful that we were able to visit him late last year, and we reminisced about all the fun times we had together.
To say he will be missed does not fully convey the hole we feel in our lives.
We are grateful to Margaret for the care and great friendship she provided.
